On March 20, during the annual information session, all Ricoh reseller channel entrepreneurs were informed about the programming of the Ricoh Partner Academy. This is the 7th season already in which Ricoh safeguards training and certification and therefore sustains the high level of both the partner channel and its own organization, sales and service. The event took place in Ermelo, in the inspiring ‘Sotto Lounge’ from host Wilco van den Baar.
Changing playing field
The introduction of the new privacy legislation (GDPR) was one of the topics discussed. What does this mean for companies, but also for customers? And how can Ricoh’s service be optimally used to support customers in managing the consequences of this new legislation? Marco Diks, Partner Manager Ricoh Netherlands, presented a fascinating analysis of the changing role of the account manager in a dynamic market and the rapidly advancing ‘digital revolution’.
Expansion of program offer
Subsequently, an insight was given into the new courses of the Ricoh Partner Academy for commercial employees. Such as Social Selling, which supports account managers in a strong acquisition strategy and building sustainable relationship networks. The training ‘Business and Customer-oriented Writing’ brings professional written communication to a higher level. Beautiful additions to the certification program that offers both transactional, advisory and strategic sales training.
BOS facilitates Ricoh Partner Academy
The total organization and services of the Ricoh Partner Academy will be facilitated by BOS, just like in previous years. This means, among other things, the development and organization of digital learning platforms with tailor-made Ricoh product and proposition modules, as well as providing a complete portfolio of skills trainings. The back office has also been outsourced to BOS. By doing so, Ricoh is assured of a professional, efficient service and an always up-to-date and professional trainings offer.
